Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and moved to Memphis, Tennessee when he was 13. In 1958, Presley was drafted into the military service and relaunched his career a few years later. He had numerous hit records and was nominated for 14 competitive Grammys and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at 36! In addition, Elvis has been in numerous movies and soundtrack albums. In 1977 Elvis died suddenly at the age of 42 and will be forever missed.
